Something keeps tugging at you.

Maybe you know exactly what you want.

Maybe it’s less defined than that—an idea you keep returning to, a change you can feel approaching, a longing you haven’t quite admitted, or the growing sense that something that once fit no longer does.

You may have spent years becoming capable, responsible, and accomplished. You know how to make things happen.

And still, some part of you is asking:

What matters enough to move toward now?

Desire can show you the direction.
It can’t make the move for you.

Eros is the pull toward what feels alive—the yearning, curiosity, attraction, or inner insistence that tells you something matters.

Moxie is the courage to let that pull matter enough to move: to make a choice, begin the conversation, try the thing, or take one step before you know exactly where it will lead.

They’re meant to work together.

Desire without movement can become a longing we repeatedly postpone.

Courage disconnected from desire can become another exercise in discipline, duty, or forcing ourselves forward.

Eros & Moxie reunites the pull with the power to respond.

Bring one real pull.

Leave with one real move.

Bring a desire, yearning, or persistent pull that has your attention—even if you don’t yet know exactly what to do with it.

You won’t leave with a grand plan for the rest of your life.

You’ll leave with clearer language for what matters, less friction between wanting and moving, and one brave, doable action you can take now.

During our 90 minutes together, you’ll:

  • Bring what has been tugging at you into clearer focus

  • Recognize the fear, uncertainty, condition, or inner bargain making movement difficult

  • Distinguish a genuine call from urgency, fantasy, and other people’s expectations

  • Explore why courage so often grows after we begin moving rather than before

  • Choose one brave, right-sized action that begins building courage through experience

OPEN TO EVERYONE

A possibility party—and a working room.

This is a public Moxie gathering, open to people of all genders.

Some of you may have heard about it through Chip Conley or Wisdom Well; others through Modern Elder Academy, Moxie, a friend, a colleague, or a forwarded invitation from someone who thought, You should be in this room.

Come for the energy of a big, alive gathering—and come ready to work with one real desire, idea, decision, or next move that has your attention. Together, we’ll bring it into sharper focus, make movement feel more possible, and identify one brave, doable action.

Bring a notebook and pen. We’re going to reflect, imagine, and make something useful—not just talk about possibility.

“I’ve done a lot of workshops and self-discovery work over the years, and Deb’s approach still managed to get me thinking in a new way. Her framework was easy to grasp, her examples made it click, and the experiential exercise was fantastic.

“She is approachable and clear. This kind of facilitation is harder than it looks, and she’s clearly got it down. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a workshop that lands.”

YOUR GUIDE

Deborah Beroset

Deborah Beroset is a writer, speaker, creative catalyst, certified neurotransformational coach, and the founder of Moxie. She helps accomplished people recognize what’s becoming important, listen for what it’s asking of them, and create momentum before certainty arrives.

For more than three decades, Deb has worked at the intersection of transformation, communication, creative leadership, and adult learning. She taught writing at the Missouri School of Journalism, developed seminar and conference curriculum for SkillPath, led transformational programs for thousands of people as a Landmark Worldwide seminar leader, served as Landmark’s global director of public relations, and headed Hallmark’s internal creative think tank, The Collaboratory.

Her particular expertise is the consequential threshold where something new is becoming important, but the way forward isn’t yet clear. She brings together imagination, discernment, clear language, and courage to help people understand what the moment is asking of them—and turn what they know into movement.

Deb’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, Fast Company, Real Simple, Glamour, Entrepreneur, Advertising Age, and other national publications, and she was a contributing editor at Ladies’ Home Journal. An alumna of Modern Elder Academy, she’s known for bringing warmth, clarity, creative rigor, and real movement to a room.

As a speaker, Deb explores aliveness, creative leadership, midlife reinvention, imaginal intelligence, and what becomes possible when we stop waiting for certainty and begin moving toward what matters.

Deb is available for keynotes, workshops, and facilitated conversations for conferences, organizations, and communities.

Speaking inquiries →

“I’ve met plenty of brilliant strategists and plenty of deep thinkers. What I almost never find is both in the same person… Deb is the unicorn I’d been looking for and frankly wasn’t sure existed.

“She sees the pattern before anyone else in the room can name it, and she has the moxie to say it plainly, in language that doesn’t just inform people, it moves them.

“Accomplished, skeptical people lean in when Deb speaks. That’s not a skill you teach. That’s who she is.”
