Terms & Conditions

While dealing with the nitty gritty legal details isn’t nearly as fun as the creative stuff, we believe it’s important to create a clear, conscious and clean transaction with you — and part of that is having clear boundaries in place for the best experience.

If you have any questions about the stated terms, please email deb@itstimeformoxie.com.

Below you will find our Cancellation Policy, COVID-19 Waiver and Photo Release.

Cancellation Policy

By reserving your space through placing your deposit with us, you are agreeing to the stated policies in our Agreement.

Please read in full and note:

Any cancellation will result in a total loss of the $1000 USD retainer.*

  • A 50% refund (minus $1000 nonrefundable retainer) will be provided on cancellations between Dec 10 and Dec 31, 2024. *

  • A 30% refund (minus $1000 nonrefundable retainer) will be provided on cancellations between Jan 1 and Jan 31, 2025. *

  • After Feb 1, 2025, no refunds will be issued.*

No refund/credit will be provided for premature leaving of the retreat or failure to arrive at the retreat for any reason.

If we find that the trip is not a good fit for you, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, in which case your payments will be fully refunded.

Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans. You can use our suggested Travelex Insurance online to get a quote and choose policy options.

To be in communication (including to cancel), please email deb@itstimeformoxie.com.

* No exceptions will be granted to the retreat cancellation policy and other terms and conditions.

Please note: We are sorry but injury and illness do not disqualify you from any of the above cancellation policies. We are UNABLE to transfer deposits or any payments from one year to the next year.

In the rare case of a cancellation on the part of It’s Time for Moxie LLC (due to political unrest, dangerous weather, virus, presidential elections, disease, pandemic, natural disasters, or low registrations) we will offer a transfer to another retreat and transfer your payments to the new dates/experience.

There will be no refunds in the cases of cancellation due to any virus, disease, natural disaster, presidential elections, political unrest, bad weather or low registrations. It’s Time for Moxie LLC IS NOT to be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets/travel expenses due to changes in itineraries or program cancellation.

Email deb@itstimeformoxie.com with any questions about the stated policies.

COVID-19 Specifics

Your safety is very important to us!

We will adhere to all COVID-19 travel requirements at the time of travel and will keep you informed of any updates.

There are no requirements for vaccination or masks on this retreat at the time of this writing (April 2024), but you’re always welcome to wear a mask if you like. We will have N-95 masks and will also have some rapid Covid tests on hand if needed.

If you’re concerned about rooming with someone who has made a different vaccination choice than you, please let us know your needs in the pre-event forms and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Please inquire for specifics if you’d like to know more. Also keep in mind that we don’t give refunds if you have to cancel, which makes it all the more important that your travel insurance includes Covid-related cancellations.

COVID-19 Waiver

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person, especially through aerosol droplets. As a result, federal, state, and local governments, and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing, face coverings, and have in many locations prohibited the congregation of large groups of people. Science still has incomplete knowledge about the coronavirus.

I understand that in order to attend a Retreat activity or event I must be free from COVID-19 symptoms. Should symptoms develop while in the care of Retreat, I will be separated from the rest of the people at camp and must be picked up or depart immediately. I further voluntarily agree that Retreat may monitor me for symptoms of COVID-19 (including but not limited to fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, shortness of breath, chills, dry cough, sore throat, and muscle aches.)

I will immediately notify via email if I become aware of any person with whom I have had contact exhibits any symptoms of COVID-19, is advised to self-isolate, quarantine, or has tested positive for COVID-19 prior to, during, or within two weeks after my participation in retreat activities or events.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks, to accept sole responsibility for any injury from COVID-19 to myself or to any other person, including, but not limited to, personal injury, illness, disability, death, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense of any kind, that I or others may experience or incur in connection with, or participation in retreat activities or events. I release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless It's Time for Moxie LLC, House of Dreams, their employees, facilitators, agents, and representatives, from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to COVID-19.

I understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on actions, omissions, or negligence of It’s Time for Moxie LLC, their employees, contractors, facilitators, agents and representatives, and whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during or after participation in retreat activities or events.

Extension to known claims: A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in the creditors favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by the creditor, must have materially affected the creditors settlement with the debtor.
